Phlox Clothing Boutique warmly invites you to a trunk show featuring Filly Designs Thursday December 10th from 6pm-9pm. Local Portland designer Emily Christensen will be showcasing selected designs from our ‘Filly Favorites’ including items from current and past seasons.
Our party coincides with Mississippi Avenue’s Month of Holiday Celebrations. In honor of the festivities, many businesses will be open late featuring music, shopping, drinks and food. Let us wine and dine you and dazzle your limbs with the elegant simplicity of Filly Designs. Come, celebrate yourself, 6-9 pm, this coming Thursday.
The fabrics Filly crafts its pieces from are durable, almost workmanlike materials while the cuts and colors distinctly feminine. One distinguishing feature of all Filly’s pieces is the lack of zippers, buttons, or fasteners of any type . The pull-on cut s and shaping lines superbly cater to a woman’s curves . Designer Christensen wants her wearer “to admire and appreciate herself, to feel purposeful, sexy, and comfortable in her own skin. I want the woman wearing Filly to fall in love with herself.”
